Abstract

In October 2019, Consumer Price Index (CPI) of Batam City showed deflation of 0.27 percent. Deflation occurred due to a decrease in the CPI from 138.35 in September 2019 to 137.97 in October 2019. Inflation in the calendar year (January to October 2019) was 0.69 percent. Year-on-year inflation (October 2019 against October 2018) was 2.42 percent. it is recorded that Tanjungpinang City experienced deflation of 0.27 percent.
